The St Johnland School was located just west of the current St Johnland Driveway West.

The 4 room schoolhouse was built in 1916. Each room had 2 classes or grades, e.g, one room/front-right was 1st and 2nd grades. Front left, looking
at the 1938 photo, was the 3rd and 4th grades. The school was closed
in 1954. Destroyed by fire in the late 1960's. I watched it burn, as I was
working in Bldg 93 KPSH..
Adding 2 more of the school. First one taken around 1916 when first
built. Second one in the late 1930's.

King, we need to talk a walk down there and see what we can find, sounds like a good topic for our next film short. I remember some old foundations in that area, we have the cemetery, the pine trees, the cistern, lots of good stuff to search for!
